Linda discovered her passion for the English language during a stay in Australia and subsequently studied at the SDI in Munich for three years, gaining the title of state-certified translator with English as a main language and engineering as a special subject. This was followed by a Master’s course in Salford, England. On completing her Master’s dissertation on the subject of “Anglicisms in the Language of Windsurfing” she was awarded a Master’s degree in Translating. Several years as a freelance translator and proof-reader, primarily in the field of engineering, and her experience as a project manager for a translation agency add to her qualifications.
